Ourglass Grape Guide to Vermentino

Vermentino grows along Italy’s coastal regions and on the island of Sardinia. It produces light, fresh, inexpensive and unpretentious whites that act as staple wines in Italian restaurants, domestic and abroad. It tastes of peaches, lemon, and seawater, and holidays on the beach. A useful alternative to Pinot Grigio.

WHY YOU LIKE VERMENTINO

• It is the wine you had on your honeymoon.

• It's cheap and makes you thirsty.

• You like to drink wine with sushi.
