El Porvenir de Cafayate is a small, family owned winery in Salta, specialising in Torrontes, Malbec, Tannat and Moscatel planted in some of the highest vineyards in the world at c. 1900m above sea level. Amauta translates to ‘the wise one,’ a nod to the indigenous Incan teachers who passed down knowledge about life and nature.
