On a mission to raise the profile of the Chénas wine region in Beaujolais, winemaker Paul-Henri Thillardon expanded his vineyard over the last 20yrs from 3 to 12ha, with quality of vineyard and fruit as his foremost consideration. Mentored by legendary natural winemakers Jean-Louis Dutraive and Yvon Métras, Thillardon’s vines are always organic and in cases biodynamic.
