Cul Sec Rouge '18

Thierry Alexandre’s winery is located in the village of St Jean du Muzois, slap bang in the centre of the super exciting St Joseph appellation in Northern Rhône. He first got started in 2000 managing farming for some of the most prestigious names including Jean Louis Chave, Hervé Souhaut and Jean-Michel Stephan. He was so successful that by 2005, it was taking away from his own winery, which eventually he decided to focus on purely. He farms a small 2.5ha organic vineyard and his cellar is essentially a small, impeccably clean garage where he finishes his very fine, pure and fresh wines. Fermented whole bunch with a short maceration period of 10-days, before being aged in stainless steel for 7 months.
