Cul Sec Rouge '23

Thierry Alexandre is one of those Northern Rhone producers who works so quietly you almost miss him. Based between Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph, he farms a handful of parcels with obsessive care and zero shortcuts. Cul Sec (roughly translating to 'bottoms up') is his entry Syrah and it drinks well above its weight. Pure fruit, no oak, no pretension.
