Within the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc itself, Domaine Chante Cigale has been family owned for generations with vines over 100 years old. Now run by son Alexandre Favier, Chante Cigale is stepping into modernity along with a wave of new age winemakers in the region, while still honoring the centuries long traditions of the region. The name of the Domaine refers to the singing cicadas that set the idyllic backdrop of the French countryside. This Blanc comes from 40 year old vines, ferments in steel for 21 days, and ages on lees up to 6 months.
