El Mirador Malbec '21

Nestled in the shadow of the Andes, Bodegas Urqo (named from a blend of the family name Urquia and the Uco Valley) produces truly Argentinian Malbecs, full of character and flavour. The small team aims to produce wine representative of the Andes, with its high elevation and direct UV exposure, injecting appellation into the very essence of the grapes. With such an importance placed on environment, Bodegas Urqo is actively working toward increased sustainability, implementing increasingly stringent organic methods. This Malbec, grown at over 1,200 metres, aged in 60% new French oak and 40% in steel, both for 14 months before blending.
