California winemaker Nathan Kandler’s emphasis on traditional winemaking and his attention to securing vineyards ideally suited to grape variety enable pure expression of Contra Costa County’s unique terroirs. His natural small batch wines are produced from 100+yr old vines with indigenous vineyard yeast, fermented in whole grape clusters, and aged in French oak.
