Born to a family of winemakers beginning with his grandfather, Fredéric Garrabou walked the vineyards as a child. Now a strong winemaker in his own regard, he still believes that the best wines begin on the vine. This mad science experiment of a cuveé honors, in a tongue and cheek way, honors Paul Truel, who in 1961 created the Marselan grape. This wine inherits its intensity from its grapes’ cabernet sauvignon and grenache roots.
