Obra Prima Malbec '17

Hailing originally from Piedomont, IT, The Cassone family settled in Argentina in the 19th century and began making wine in the 1950’s. The current owner, Eduardo Cassone, is the son of the family’s first vinter, Roberto. Most of the family vines are over 90 years old, and the family mixes tradition and technology to create delightfully fresh yet complex wines. Their malbec is traditionally cold macerated in steel and aged 12 months in new French oak.
