Ognostro Rubice Falangina '20

Marco Tinessa’s career in winemaking grew from a love for the Campania appellation of Taurasi. He started with a single parcel of Aglianico near Montemarano, acquired with the help of legendary natural winemaker, Frank Cornelissen (Marco’s wines were all vinified at Frank’s cellar up to the 2017 vintage). This native Falanghina is composed of young vines located in Bonea and Montemarano, with south exposure and with a 400m elevation above sea level. Macerated briefly then fermented and aged in fibreglass, in the latter’s case to ‘prevent any influence on the wine and the terroir’.
