Established in 1877, López de Heredia set out to create ‘supreme Rioja’ in the words of founder, Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta. Fastidious fruit selection, 3yr aging in old oak barrels in vast underground cellars, and careful release only after the requisite amount of bottle aging makes this the most sought after among wine nuts.
