Romagna Sangiovese Predappio '23

Chiara Condello continues a long family legacy of winemaking in Predappio, a small town in southern Emilia-Romagna. Most experts believe Sangiovese originated here, not Tuscany, and Chiara makes a compelling case for it. She farms 5ha organically, uses open-top fermenters with extended whole cluster maceration and ages in large neutral Slavonian oak. Inspired by the late Tuscan legend Giulio Gambelli.
