Reserve de Gassac
Rosé, Reserve de Gassac
Known as Languedoc’s ‘First Growth’ (this references Bordeaux’s top wineries like Lafite and Mouton Rothschild), the Guibert family only established the winery in the 80s, but happily they realised their holiday home was situated on one of France’s great terroirs (the combination of climate, soil and appropriate variety that makes French wines great). Gassac vineyards thrive in a uniquely cool Languedoc microclimate, indulging the vines in a long growing season that allows delicate flavour nuance to develop over time.
