Marc Kent, a self-described maverick, is the mind behind the innovate and experimental wines of Boekenhoutskloof. Deeply committed to environmental preservation, Kent is a founding member of Franschhoek Mountain Conservancy and Boekenhoutskloof’s initiatives include the removal of invasive and nonative flora. Their most famous cuvée Chocolate Block, a red blend of epic proportions, is vinted to emulate the depth and complexity of its namesake.
