Thomas Haag and Schloss Lieser has rapidly emerged as one of the Mosel's top estates. In 2014, he added the Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard, one of Mosel's best and most famous. In its debut vintage, Schloss Lieser was singled out by The Wine Advocate's Stephan Reinhardt as producing one of the best Kabinetts that he tasted in 2014. 2014 was a celebrated, cooler vintage, imbuing purity, depth and balance.
