As buds break and spring unfolds, we’ve been busy selecting shareable wines perfect for BBQ, gardens, and outdoor events. June’s bundles feature exciting vignerons like ex rugby player turned maverick winemaker Pierre Cros who cultivates traditional French varietals and also Portuguese and Italian grapes, and, Jonathan Grieve who utilises a unique ‘posse’ of ducks to keep his vineyards free of snails, eliminating the need for chemicals.

Marilyn Lasserre is a renowned Languedoc winemaker who has played an important part in encouraging people to reappraise Languedoc as a region to make wine’s of character and not of volume.Originally studying oenology in Bordeaux, Marilyn spent much of her career in global wine regions such as South America, South Africa, and Australia, influencing her winemaking style.

Accompany with smoky bean dishes such as vegetarian chilli, alongside blue cheese, or with a heaping plate of spaghetti and meatballs.

Expect red and black fruits with oak influences.
