He’s put his fastidious attention to detail into scouring and selecting the perfect site and soil for Pinot Noir, for which he is primarily known alongside Chardonnay..

Winemaker Nicola Ferrari earned his reputation as a leading Valpolicella producer after a decade of winemaking at legendary Quintarelli Winery, his detailed care for vineyard terroir, and an obsessive pursuit of quality. The organic Monte Santoccio vineyard spans only 3 hectares across the rolling Italian hills of Fumane, home to the Ferrari family.
