Discover wine’s possibilities

‘I think having land and not ruining it is the most beautiful art that anybody could ever want.’ – Andy Warhol

At Ourglass, we’re inspired by independent winemakers who care for their vines and fruit so as to best capture a unique place and time.

This month, we are excited to bring you beautiful bottles from much loved producers like Envinate, enologist friends reviving the lost grapes of Spain; and also to introduce you to new producers such as Marcio Lopez, whose small yield Portuguese wines exude authenticity, with minimal intervention in vineyard and cellar.

With each bottle and every sip, we hope our wines take you somewhere. Whether a carefully tended vineyard, a table of friends and revelry, or simply a quiet moment of reflection.

Expert tip: Cellar temperature is cooler than our homes and closer to the winemaker’s intent so don’t be afraid to put even a rich red in the fridge for a few mins to freshen up and focus its flavour profile. For more detail on serving temperatures, check out the link.

Cheers.
