As buds break and spring unfolds, we’ve been busy selecting shareable wines perfect for BBQ, gardens, and outdoor events. June’s bundles feature exciting vignerons like ex rugby player turned maverick winemaker Pierre Cros who cultivates traditional French varietals and also Portuguese and Italian grapes, and, Jonathan Grieve who utilises a unique ‘posse’ of ducks to keep his vineyards free of snails, eliminating the need for chemicals.

Domaine Duroche Gevrey Chambertin '19

Fifth generation winemaker Pierre Duroché has shot his family domaine into the limelight with his obsession for viti and vinicultural techniques that produce an exacting expression of coveted Gevrey-Chambertin terroir.

Serve with a classic beef bourguignon, grilled earthy mushrooms and asparagus, or a Five Guys.

Expect cherry, earth, and oak.

Bodegas Rejadorada is situated south west of Rioja in the Toro region, known for robust and full-bodied red wines.The winery emphasises use of Tinta de Toro, a local variety of Tempranillo, well-suited to the region’s climate and soil conditions.

Adegas Terra de Asorei was formed in 2006 of six families keen to put their expression of albariño on the map.They operate 60 ha of Galician vineyards, driven to underline what they believe to be albariño’s status as Spain’s greatest white grape variety.

Albariño’s acidic kick makes it a perfect accompaniment to salads with vinaigrette, mignonette drizzled oysters, and hot summer days.

Expect citrus herbaceousness and minerality.
