This biodynamic Northern Rhône Syrah from granite soils comes from Domaine des Amphores, a family-run estate in Chavanay where Philippe and Véronique Chol-Chosson have pioneered organic and biodynamic farming since the 1990s. Les 7 Lieux blends fruit from seven parcels across Saint-Joseph, all hand-harvested from steep granite terraces and vinified with native yeasts and minimal intervention. The wine opens with violets, blackcurrant and a touch of clove. On the palate, it's fresh and finely structured; granite tension carries through dark fruit and cracked pepper to a savoury, persistent finish. Pair with grilled lamb, lentil stew or roast aubergine. This Saint-Joseph Syrah shows black fruit, pepper and granite tension, ideal with grilled lamb or lentil stew.
