Discover wine’s possibilities

“Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.” - Charles Mingus

Among the vines in modest parcels with vineyard tools in hand is where you will find most our producers. Farmers and craftspeople who prefer the simple, the beautiful, over interventions and margins. They respect the true artist that is nature, and we in turn honour them.

This month’s selections feature winemakers we love, including the Guibert family Gassac Estate renowned as Languedoc’s “First Growth”, oenologist couple Christoph and Andrea Schaefer, and legendary rosé producer Domaine Tempier, all of whom focus primarily on the health of their vines and allow nature to produce beautiful wines that result.

The August box includes three, rather than four bottles, chosen for their elevated quality and price point. We hope you enjoy this month's wines in the same way as Mingus described.

PS - Our newest blog features a new article on French wine regions - important given our Francophile inclination - helping you build your understanding and navigate the world’s greatest wine producing nation. Please read and share. We always love to hear feedback from members.

Cheers.
