Discover wine’s possibilities

“There are about 700 flavors that you can smell, but only five you can taste. A lot of times what you're perceiving as flavor has nothing to do with palate, but it's more to do with scents.” - Chicago Chef Grant Achatz

If you’d like to explore enjoyment in the glass, check out the Ourglass blog (experience tab), where you’ll find 8 applicable tasting tips. Then circle back soon, for upcoming content from a few familiar names in the wine industry.

Cheers, to wine discovery.

NB: Give us a shout if you are looking to re-up on bottles for the December holidays. A white Burgundy like Mâcon Milly Lamartine from Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon pairs well with cheese or savoury poultry dishes, while a big Rhone red such as Stéphane Ogier’s Le Temps Est Venu is a lovely match with darker meats or richer flavours. And of course, festivities can hardly begin without a bit of fizz - we’ve been enjoying England’s own Hundred Hills Blanc de Blanc. We’re happy to offer personalised recommendations for the season.
