South African winery Avondale’s motto, ‘Terra Est Vita’ translates to ‘Soil is Life,’ reflecting their sustainable and organic farming methods, with a focus on biodynamic principles.

Serve with your classic fish pie, or a New York style bagel and lox (one could argue you can’t find a bagel worth eating outside the Big Apple, but I believe in you).

Expect winter melon, sophisticated tropical notes and subdued woodiness.

Bought in 2002 by Maison Sichel, the property was renamed to honor the vineyard's likely original owners, the Argadens family. Now modern in every way, Château d’Argadens practices integrated farming, believing that respect for the environment plays a fundamental role in quality wine production.

Serve with a classic bouillabaisse pasta or butter lemon chicken.

Expect tropical fruits, clean citrus, and subtle oak.

Serve with black lentil soup, oregano & tomatoes, smoky BBQ, Cheese and Spinach Quiche.

Expect blackberry, sour cherry and hints of sweet pepper.
