Biodynamic methods shine through in this native blend of Nero d’Avola and Frappato, grown near Vittoria and hand-harvested with care. Leading producer Giusto Occhipinti tested new oak, old oak and concrete before settling on amphora and wild yeasts as the purest lens for this site. Expect redcurrant, blood orange and dried herbs, with earthy grip and mineral lift. The palate is structured yet nimble, carried by acidity and quiet savour.
