Hautes Côtes de Beaune

This natural high-altitude Burgundy from rising star producer Fiona Leroy reflects the quiet intensity of her 2.7-hectare domaine in Dezize-Les-Maranges, at the southern tip of the Côtes de Beaune. Fiona harvests organic and biodynamic Pinot Noir by hand, using whole clusters and indigenous yeasts, and intervenes as little as possible in the cellar to let the fruit express its place. Redcurrant, wild strawberry and savoury herb lead into a mineral, finely structured palate. There’s clarity, lift and a whisper of grip from the stem inclusion.
