Radikon
Jakot
This iconic skin-contact Friulian wine from natural pioneer Radikon is 100% Friulano, grown on ponca soils in the hills of Oslavia. The Radikon family are pioneers in the natural and orange wine movement, establishing viti-vini techniques adopted throughout the world. Jakot is fermented with native yeasts after two months on skins, then aged for three years in large Slavonian oak and two more in bottle before release. Amber in hue, it reveals dried apricot, tamarind, walnut skin and a tea-like grip. Structure, depth and savoury persistence define the finish. Serve with guinea fowl, pumpkin risotto or aged Alpine cheese. This Friulano shows dried fruit, umami depth and tannic grip, ideal with pumpkin risotto or Alpine cheese.
