Domaine des Moriers
Beaujolais Villages
This traditional Gamay from granitic Beaujolais soils captures the energy of the region’s northern slopes. Domaine des Moriers is a collaboration between Chandon de Briailles and François de Nicolay, blending Burgundy precision with Beaujolais flair. Vines are 30–50 years old, farmed sustainably and harvested by hand. Fermented with native yeasts and semi-carbonic maceration, the wine shows raspberry, cranberry and a touch of spice, grounded by mineral freshness. No oak, just fruit, place and finesse. Ageing is brief to retain lift and clarity. Serve slightly chilled with charcuterie, mushroom pie or roast chicken. This traditional Gamay from granitic Beaujolais soils shows red fruit, spice and stony lift, ideal with charcuterie or simple roast dishes.

What price is pleasure?
The more you spend on a bottle of wine - the more there is to make that wine extraordinary - as opposed to most of your money going on tax, logistics and retail costs.
